I come from a family of helpers and was always taught that if I see a problem I should try to help fix it. Well, I have seen a problem. I have seen a trend in the disabilities community of struggling families, struggling educators, and unhappy children. I've been blessed to be a part of this community my entire life as I had a sibling with challenges, family friends with disabilities, and now have a daughter on the autism spectrum. My path as a parent, friend, and educator has allowed me to gather enormous amounts of information on improving the lives of children with disabilities, put that information into practice, and see amazing results. Most families do not have such opportunities and are left desperate to improve the quality of their children's lives.
